After working for a total of 4 hours at temporary job we were told that we had just completed 1/4 of the task. How much longer in hour should it take us to finish the entire job?

remaining work = (1 - 1/4) = 3/4 part
1/4 part can be finished in 4 hrs
1 part can be finished = 4x4 hrs
3/4 part can be finished = 4x4x3/4 = 12 hrs
so, total time required = 12 + 4 = 16 hrs
